Thank You. But there seems to still be a problem. 

Once I've removed the lantern script calls and added an erase event command after the s.change_color script call and start the game

in the map affected everything is fine. 

BUT

If I play the game and transfer into that map later on the flickering effect in the corner still occurs. And I've double-checked everything. 

It occurs no matter which [light x] I use.

And I've found that even the change or set color effect itself causes this flickering issue if entering a map later on. Even if there's no light source to begin with.

Hello Khas

Is it possible to disable the Awesome Lighting Effect? I want to disable the script at specific time like 6:00 AM (6:00) to 6:00 PM (18:00) with Vlue's Advanced Game Time.

I try to "turn off" the Awesome Lighting Effect by tinting the screen, but it causes the screen to flicker with Vlue's tint given the specific time (Morning and Evening). It works just fine without Vlue's Script, but I need Vlue's script for my game that I'm trying to create.

Here's how I try to fix the problem:

If it's possible to disable the script, can I do that without having to apply that for every single map?

Hello,

I have RPG Maker VX Ace and walls don't block light. I have tested and I think there are the base scripts (french version), what script is problematic?

I found... This is the tileset configuration (all terrain number are set to 0) :S

I don't know if this question has been answered already, but I've searched for an answer on the forums for a while now. I'm able to download the file as intended, however I cannot actually extract it anywhere. Khas Graphics Library.dll cannot be moved out of it's actual folder, citing "access denied" every time, this problem persists even if I attempt to take ownership of the file itself.


As my game depends on this wonderful system, this has rendered my game unplayable. I'm of the assumption that I'm doing something wrong here, but since even redownloading the file doesn't seem to work, I'm at a loss as to what that could conceivably be. The library file is the only file in the directory which refuses to be moved in this manner,


Looking forward to an answer.

Hey, Khas! I've got a problem. I'm using a script which changes the screen's resolution, but when I do this the effects of your script won't take part in the entire screen but in a small portion of it. Here's a screenshot:

I keep getting "undefined method "flags" for nil:NilClass" errors when I playtest now. Anybody know what this is?

Can you go to your script editor afterwards and post a screenshot? Doing so will show us the script line where it errors.. It would also be helpful to tell us when exactly this error happens..

Hey, I've been using this script for a while and there's this problem that just seems to keep persisting... No matter what I seem to do, this script just completely slows down the game.


The first map it's on works just fine, running smoothly (the map is the smallest it can be) and having a lil lantern just how it should.


Then, as soon as I transfer to a new map (I turn off the lantern and tinting, but even if I don't this still happens!) my character moves agonizingly slowly. The map is the smallest it can be, and this happens no matter what map I go to. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Any way of using multiple lanterns on a map? Like, enemies gotta have lanterns too, don't they?

@Khas I still need to try your scripts, but have been checking it out and looks good. Happy to see you're still active on these scripts. I'm not entirely sure how you do these lighting effects, but if possible, could it work with normal maps? I can make a tile set with normal maps of you are interested.

@Spoopy Unfortunately normal maps are not performance viable with these scripts. They run on the CPU and that would be too heavy :(

Continuing our countdown with Capsule Monster #11 Vampy! While he might have a lower HP he has the unique ability to drain hp from others to restore his own! For any Yu-Yu-Hakusho fans I based a lot of his design on Rinku!
I'm finally done with my demo for the Cube Trail! All that needs to happen is playtesting of the four main characters for any balance changes that need to be done.
