Alright, so this is an oddly specific and probably simple fixed question but here it is. I've been experimenting with Khas Awesome Lighting effects script and so far really like it. However, the problem I am experiencing is that when I am changing or dimming the brightness, colors, etc, of a map, the display text for changing rooms and locations is effected by the map color change. Picture below to explain the issue at hand. Any work around or simple fix for this? Thanks.

try this

Code:
class Window_MapName < Window_Base  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------  # * Object Initialization  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------  def initialize    super(0, 0, window_width, fitting_height(1))    self.opacity = 0    self.contents_opacity = 0    #modify this until it shows above the lighting layer    #on test play    self.z = 999    @show_count = 0    refresh  endend

Glad this fixed the issue for you. Also, in Khas' script, if you edit line 215:

Surface_Z = 180

to something like:

Surface_Z = 90

It should view the displays and pictures properly.
