Hey everyone,
So a little introduction.
Khas has left the rpg maker scene entirely and has stopped making and supporting his javascripts.
There is no response on any of his available contact links.
This makes it so that nobody can get a commercial license for some of his scripts that require it.
I have currently only found this script : http://arcthunder.blogspot.com/p/khas-advanced-lighting.html to be using walls to block light. Version 4.0 Ultra has real-time shadows, but it is performance intensive.
But khas made sure to make it as lightweight as possible, wich it really is.
Here is a demo that will show you exactly what I mean :
This makes the light in your world very atmospheric. something I am going for.
I'll also add the extensive tutorial for this script : http://arcthunder.blogspot.com/p/tutorial-advanced-lighting.html
There is currently not a good replacement for this very lightweight plugin with these capabilities for rpg maker MV.
So now comes the question :
Does anyone with scripting capabilities have the time to revive this masterpiece and maybe earn a buck or two for commercial use.
I for one will buy it instantly if someone decides to rewrite this into his/her own code.
And I am pretty sure it wil pull alot of attention from other enthousiasts, both casual and professional alike.
Tank you for reading and hopefully until soon!
