Hello, this is my first try of pixel art for my game so expect newbie basic quality (and hope for improvements 
)
I decided to choose resolution 1600x900 so 48x48 character is too small.
My choice was to make my own 72x48 field characters and side battler version is *150% (108 x 72 size).
I am creating it modular (parts of cloth for easy switching in Gimp/Photoshop or in Game Character Hub).
Using MV graphic palete and trying adapt it to blend smoothly into MV RTP style.
As you can see - most of hairs and front faces/eyes is MV RTP edits. Rest is my work, no rips from other authors. As heads size remains mostly the same as in MV RTP there is only small adjustment needed to fit into my bodies templates.
Naked bodies - field:
I made several templates here:
Hourglass style female "Jenny"
wide pelvis, boobies, female walking/sitting style (knees close each other)
And now parts-standing:
And now parts-sitting:
Muscular male
muscular, male wide walking/sitting style (knees opened)
Slim male/elf
slim man, male wide walking/sitting style (knees opened)
Muscular female "Johauna"
muscular with female body measures, but male wide walking/sitting style (knees opened)
Unisex Gnome/(or kid) *** not finished yet ***
slim, small, no adult properties
Male Dwarf *** not finished yet ***
muscular, male wide walking/sitting style (knees opened)
Female Dwarf *** not finished yet ***
Clone of Male dwarf with boobies.
And now small results of characters "in action"
Johauna (muscular female in night robe) watching sleeping Vlasteo (slim man) sleeping in temple robe.
Party at temple - you see muscular redhead Johauna has knees open (man sitting style) compared to other ladies.
More resources (already created) tomorrow. I have some issues with spoilers multiply each edit. Fighting with new forum took more time than expected tonight.

MV licence needed as front head and hairs are RTP MV edits.
As long as you own MV licence, this resources are completelly free for any use or experimentation with edits recolor or anything else. You can use them in your project no matter if commercial or not. Credits are not required, but you can credit me if you wish.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
