Just wanted to give you a quick Homestead Guide:
HOMESTEAD MODES
- There are two homestead modes: Analyze and Action.
- You may toggle between either mode using the icon at the top of the screen.
- Analyze mode gives the player detailed breakdowns of every action they make.
- Action mode removes detailed breakdowns to speed up gameplay, also allows character to chop down trees.
CROPS
- Crop stages: Seeds, planted-immature, planted-ripe, death.
- You must water and fertilize your crops. If their water or fertilizer levels drop below 0 they will die.
- Crops can be frozen (due to snow). You must thaw them, with an item, to perform an action with them. If they are frozen for too long they will die. If they are infected, then frozen, the freeze will kill any infection.
- Crops can be infected with bugs (during nice weather). You must spray them, with an item, to perform an action with them. If they are infected for too long they will die. If the crops are frozen before you spray them, the infection will be cleared but now you must thaw the crop.
- Harvest crops when they are ripe to receive the crop and seeds.
Crops can grow old and die, harvest them in time.
LIVESTOCK
- Livestock stages: Immature, Mature, Death.
- You can order livestock via the livestock ordering system or you may mate two mature (opposite gender) animals to produce young.
- All livestock require water and food to survive. Ensure that there is plenty of water in the water bucket and food in the trough.
- Livestock is either male or female. This is important when mating and what you receive from the female animal as only females produce goods (eggs and milk). However you need males to reproduce. Mature animals must be well fed (food and water) and must be happy enough to reproduce. After the animals reproduce, there is a cooldown before they can reproduce again. The cooldown is different for males and females.
- Immature livestock can not mate or produce any goods. They will mature in due time. The player can play with the animals to keep them happy. You can pet the animal or play with the animal. You can choose one in order to raise the animals happiness once per day. The difference between the two selections is the amount of time required to complete the action.
- At anytime you can choose to slaughter the animal for meat (key items - attack mode toggle). Immature and mature animals yield different amounts of meat.
- Animals will die from old age.

HOMESTEAD TIPS
- You must sleep in Homestead mode!
- You will begin to get tired at 10:00pm, go back home to sleep.
- You will faint where you stand after 12:00am. The longer you wait, the greater the chance you will faint.
- When you faint you will receive the “Homestead sleepy” state.
- When affected by the Homestead sleepy state, all actions will take longer to complete, therefore, you will be less productive. You may use an item or take a nap to remove this state.
