Story

The game follows the real life events of the late Roman Emperor Caligula and his sister Drusilla during his short reign. You will explore Rome and deal with the senate while living the life of a Emperor. The story also has a focus on the relationship between Caligula and his sister Drusilla. Battles are side view and turn based.

We LOVE Roman history, this is early empire. and yea check it out on Desura, we get more messages there then on this site and Kickstarter combined! For some reason we have a lot of Mount and Blade fans message us...

Then again we are just happy people are really enjoying the game and all the hard work the staff put into the game.

We even commissioned a few people on this forum to help make the game. Setting the RIGHT example and giving back is very important.

Ah well im happy you like the game! And keep in mind we are always adding new FREE content to all of our games, especially Kingdom Caligula since it's our most successful

game.

However our experience with Desura has been a very bad one so far, it's not very user friendly and has delayed us and caused many problems, we get more sales on other sites which is sad because Desura is supposed to be one of the better ones...

So if anyone else is interested they can pm me and well let you know of better places to buy the game.

With regards to Desura...I will say it was difficult to find the actual game once I downloaded it...not in the usual places, no desktop icon, etc. Why not put a link to one of the other sites you like better?

Yea we have had enough with Desura lol, but at least its good for networking with people. We have added the Itch link to buy the game in the first post, we also have a bundle discount there to so it's a better buy if you want more of our games.

We are also working on the Claudius expansion now! Which will add more free content to the game.

Desura has always been ok for me, except recently when they were taken over. Though I do prefer the Indiegamestand store.

There really isn't a best store sadly, steam had greenlight and fees and is a mess, Desura isn't user friendly and others don't get as much traffic. At the end of the day we are just happy ppl like the game and the sales allow us to keep putting out free content.

Update! We have finally taken the steps and put Kingdom Caligula on Steam greenlight. We hope to see it get on steam soon since a game isn't a game unless it's on steam these days. We are also working hard on the next content update!

I mapped some maps for this game. It was quite a learning experience.


Though I still use wrong water tiles and drive RPG Maker developers nuts by doing it.

Ahh those were the days Clord lol, such a long time ago. The feedback so far has been great, we weren't sure what people would think about such a taboo game on steam but it's been great!

It's more of a let's try and not let Shelby and Lato use the site at all rule lol. Been dealing with it for years. But back on subject we have hired mappers and pixel artists from THIS site to work on the game which has turned out great. We like to give help people get their start.
