Are you giving away items or some other stuff to the heroes during cutscenes? Otherwise, I don't see why you'd need that feature at all.

I am, actually. The protagonist of my game begins with some items in his inventory and some skills already unlocked. When the game begins, the alerts show all the items and skills the actor is spawning with, and it's a little jarring.
Later in the game, the protagonist will change to another actor in the database, and since it counts as a party member, it alerts that as well.

Also, is it possible to show the number of items the party receives? As it is right now, the alert only tells me I gained an item, like, say, a Potion. But what if I gained five, or ten Potions? It would be nice if the alerts displayed exactly how many items I'm receiving, without the need for me to go to the Items menu. It already does this for gold, so I don't believe this is much of a stretch.
I don't think this needs to extend to skills and achievements, just items and equipment.

I'm very sorry to bother you once again, @kyonides, but I just wanted to know if you will be able to add those features to your script or not. If not those I mentioned in my last post, then only the "enable/disable switch" one would suffice. Please?
Either way, thank you very much for your time.

You should know that I am not actively taking feature requests because I think it's a mature script and I prefer to keep it that way for quite a long time.

Even so, version 1.2.3 now lets you use a flag to hide the alerts.

Hide the Alerts
Ruby:
KyoAlert.hidden = true

Show the Alerts
Ruby:
KyoAlert.hidden = false

I understand. Either way, thank you very much for attending to my request to make something to disable the alerts, Kyonides. That means a lot to me. Made things a lot easier.

Cheers.

Ooops ended up trying out making my own A2 tile page instead of testing doors everywhere. Went well so far I think.
I guess I'm done making a blue squirrel's life difficult for posting new threads on different forums.
That's just for today so don't get used to this, squirrel-ish friend! :p
Got new hard drive, now trying to install the softwares I lost to the dead drive, and more than half of them won't install because they're already installed on the dead drive, and uninstallers won't run because they can't find where their programs are installed. So I take it having a drive die on you screws you in more ways than just data loss. >:\
PC got fixed finally. Back online again. Turns out I have no business trying to self repair pcs because it was getting to like 176F / 80C. Shop installed a totally new cooling system and now it runs fine and is super quiet.
When you're making major progress, but have to stop to go to work.
