Which script and dialect are you focused on? And,as a piece of advice, don't be demotivated.Japanese has its difficult side.

For now,I'm mainly focusing on Danish at the moment. My first language being Norwegian I find it quite easy to memorize vocabulary.

And, あなたの言語学習の努力に幸運を!(Used Google Translate)

I haven't practiced in a minute, but I am on French.
Ah,le Français,c'est une belle langue,n'est-ce-pas?

I'm very fluent in French. It's a great language. And it's an absolute delight reading French litterature. (BTW,to learn it,I used a mix of real-life lessons, dictionnaries, and Duolingo.

It's a very good free language learning website with tons of different languages to choose from.Really, try it!)

Does Machine Language count?
I don't think so.

I took French in high school since it was the only language class available.

I started learning a little bit of Spanish since I recently moved and there are quite a few Hispanics in my area.

I'm half-Vietnamese as well. So I learned a little bit as a child but I'm still learning!

Standard and Hiragana. Thank you for your advice, I'll take that to heart.

I personally speak french (native) and english. I did 5 years of spanish in high school and I daresay I was doing quite well but I haven't given it much love and have lost a fair bit of my vocabulary. I might like to learn britton at some point, but it'd be a purely intellectual pursuit since it's not a language that has much use...

English and Japanese (American, living in Japan). I'm actually taking the N1 this weekend and am confident I'll at least pass. But my kanji scores on mock exams were sad. It's weird because reading comprehension is supposed to be the hardest part, but I think it's the easiest section, followed by listening. I wish there was a speaking or writing part of the test too tbh, I know too many people who pass these tests but are still beginners when it comes to communicating. But then it would take years to get the results xD

I tried studying French in high school and it was dauntingly hard (the grammar) :/ I can read a little bit and get the gist of it, but that is general Roman language knowledge helping me because Italian and Spanish are the same and I've never studied either.

I'm trying to learn some JavaScript, but it's difficult to get used to the formatting after I finally became accustomed to basic Ruby. I've never had problems with HTML or CSS so maybe I'll get the hang of it if I just give it more time...

English, Spanish and French speaker here. One day I'll add Italian to that list since it's a dream of mine to go to Italy and learn home cooking from somebody's Nonna. But I also feel like I need to break out of my Indo-European comfort zone and try something different. Zulu seems like an interesting choice since I love Johnny Clegg, but beyond that I have no idea why I'd use it. I tried Japanese, but I'm more interested in reading than speaking and I just don't have the time to pick up 2 syllabaries and kanji. Romaji is easy but it feels like cheating.

When I was young I was fascinated by other languages, and studied French and Japanese since middle school. Kind of ironic when I got to high school and neither language were available studies for the required second language course so I studied (by modern american education standards) Spanish as well though I'd be the first to admit that I walked out of that classroom for the last time no more competent of communicating in Spanish than an average two year old would be.

I later picked up ASL as well for job purposes in my early 20s. There was a time when I could claim conversational competency in all three, but it's been so long since I've studied them or had a chance to actually use any of them conversationally that at this point the only thing I could truthfully claim is that I can get the jist of what's said in anime or French movies in their original languages and stumble through French and Japanese (in Kana, anyway) literature at a snail's pace. Unfortunately my childhood dreams of traveling around the world have yet to bear fruit to this day, and my vocabulary in these languages has eroded considerably in the interim.

I consume enough media from Japan that learning the language would be extremely helpful to me.  It'd be helpful for my work, too.  Everyone writes in English, but not always very well so right now communications are a little rough.  I've been trying for years, but it's not sticking.  I did Rosetta stone for a while and it was really good for getting me to switch gears and think in the language, it was also really bad for some things.  Trying to explain the concept of counter suffixes using one picture and a right or wrong answer is just stupid.  Right now I'm using Memrise and the games at TanoshiiJapanese to try and get just the kana down before I try for vocabulary again.

If I someday get to the point where I can read something all the way through with no dictionary I'd like to add in trying to learn German again too.  Took it for years in school, but they don't really care about proficiency in American schools and like Japanese, it didn't really stick.  Now that I'm older and a little more motivated (yay for having German friends!) I think I might do a better job.

I want to try and learn Japanese but never get round to it as it just seems overbearing I see the text and i'm just like .-. I understand none of this and it just looks so much that I don't understand it ruins my motivation as i'm like QAQ
I tried to play a Nisekoi game on PS Vita Nisekoi Yomeiri?! and Hanayamata Yosakoi Live also on PS Vita but I understood hardly any of it apart from what I learned from there voices and subs from the animes
I also got the Japanese copy of One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 so in japan it was called One Piece Kaizoku Musou 3 and the only reason I understood that was because I knew there voices by now and I could understand what I knew from the anime and also the game was a Dynasty Warriors title so I didn't have to learn much other than fight people and take the glowing places on the map >< but I try and learn Japanese but I always find it to be too much as I see all the Japanese text and i'm just like .-. because it seems too much and I can't understand it but I would like to try someday to learn it properly if I had the motivation

It is really hard to learn and master a language. I've been living in U.S for 17 years and I could not speak the language properly. Unless if you are learning a language since you're little. For some unexplained reasons, Kids seem to pick up a language very fast.

I wouldn't say I'm a language enthusiast, but I've been trying to learn Esperanto for years.

I took Spanish & Latin in high school and college...although far from fluent in them especially since I have not used them in a long time! Right now I am working on French on duolingo...and I feel like I can read it pretty well for the stage I'm at, but speaking and comprehension are really not up to par and will obviously take a lot of work outside of duolingo. I wish duolingo had a Latin tree so I could brush up on it.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
