- Koyami goes to the cave of ordeals to complete her coming of age ceremony.
- The party meets a spirit proclaiming herself to be a prophet telling them that the sea has become angry and they must travel west.
- After meeting Rin and settling a dispute in the capital the party travels west to Shikuku where they meet Takigawa a old priest who decides to tag along with them through the mountains to Ehime.
- First they meet the prophet once more at the top of Shikuku Tower, who explains that Otohime has began to sink ships and must be stopped.
- After reaching Ehime they learn that everything is find and that the prophet might of lied to them.
- After a fateful encounter with Otohime that nearly ends with bloodshed. Ryujin tells all and reveals the truth of Koyami's birth and tells her to head to the Shikuku Tower once more and that the prophet must be stopped.

Who: Takigawa the pervert
What: Aa old priest that specializes in healing and defensive magic.
Where: He's originates from the Chugoku Region.
When: At the beginning of the Shikoku Arc.
Why: He decides to accompany them through the mountains and beyond, but it's really cause he has a thing for Rin. (dont ask)
Who: Saya the assassin
What: A deadly ninja specializing in ninjitsu (debuffs and status ailments) and daggers.
Where: She originates from Saga.
When: She joins in the Kyushu arc.
Why: Desires vengeance against the yokai that slaughtered her village. But knows she can't defeat such a strong yokai alone.
Who: Gosanke the tough guy
What: A martial artist whose body is the best weapon. He also wields claws.
Where: He's from the Kanto region.
When: He joins at the beginning of the Chubu Arc.
Why: Cause monks are awesome.
Who: Yuki the ice woman
What: She's a half Yuki-Onna archer with ice based specials.
Where: She originates from Hokkaido.
When: Joins at the beginning of the Kanto arc.
Why: Just wants to go back home but has a bad sense of direction and needs a little help.

What: A spirit that appears to guide the others on her journey.
Where: Her origins are unknown.
When: She first appears in the first dungeon

Who: Inari the Goddess
What: A goddess who walks among man in the form of a nine tailed fox. She is considered dangerous by many.
Where: She originates from Heaven obviously.
When: She appears in pivotal scenes (including the intro where she speaks with another deity) as well as at Inari Shrine.
Why: Gods have no reason.

The game is tale of coming of age, betrayal, forgiveness, and acceptance.
- Set in Ancient Japan after the warring states period
- High Magic Setting but it requires great concentration and practice in order to master.
- Creatures of myth and legend exist. (the gods walk among humans, but so do demons)
- No world map vehicles (not happening, as most of the world map is water cause of the way japan is shaped)
- Islands connected by underwater caverns.
