Just a little thing I spent some time on to make a visual database for the game.

I had suffered what I thought was quite a devastating lost of data from a corruption. I thought I lost everything for the last 2 months. I took a short break before I dug into moving my files to a more stable computer.

I did some experimenting with some new plugins and cleaned things up quite a bit while I was rebuilding the files. Then I found a project that I had created from the base files and deleted down to the basic to send for plugin request but the data files were still intact. This weekend I was able to recover mostly everything!

However development wasn't completely idle. Several things got completed in the interim! All the custom facesets are completed and all current custom sprite work is complete. Might have a few odds and ends I will want to do. The last thing that I have to complete is icons and the battle system specific graphics as detailed below.

The plugins have been cleaned and streamlined too. I was able to cut out almost a dozen plugins. That portion is 100% complete now.

I am still waiting on a few more maps to be completely done with all the mapping.

We have now reached the point that what is left is just the eventing, database needs to be finished, and the battle system needs to be set up, which will include some more graphical work for battlebacks and battlers. Once all that is complete we will go about with balancing and bug testing!

Custom Plugins have been done by @dsiver144 .

Facesets were done by @Animator111 .

Custom Sprites were done by @Des himself.

I remember you posting in the LeTBS forum about the possibility of using it for tactical battles so I just wanted to give you a heads up that the "use RTP" plugin for it doesn't work with characters above 48x48px, so you'll need to set up cistom spritesheets following the guide on Levode's Github site to have larger characters like the Time Fantasy ones. The project looks interesting and it's the first time I've seen Time Fantasy characters and thought they looked great (nothing against the style, I generally think it's a good style but I've seen some poor implementations of it), so best of luck with it!

Hello again, let me know if you still need the last few maps you mentioned reimagined on MV (and if you don't mind converting them to the time fantasy style).

It has been far to long since I updated this thread in compared to the updates on the RMN gamepage and Twitter. I have now added some new images, and information to the main post. One of the most important is that we are on target for a demo release in August 2020.

Were you able to make the release date or was it delayed. I don't see a link but maybe the page just has not been updated? I loved the Legion Saga series back in the day, especially Legion Saga 2. Would love to see demo for this remake.

Sorry. I have been updating over on RMN and often times forget about this thread. I did not make the release date. I had some medical issues start at the end of June that basically halted all progress. However, the medical issues are now in the progress of being resolved and are no longer keeping me from working on it at all so I have been back to work on things.

I am in the final stretch. The last playtest went smoothly and I am in the process of adding the final scenes leading up to the first war battle in the demo. The final two things after that are finishing the war system for the first war battle and smoothing out the battle system with balances as well as action sequences. I am currently commissioning the demo dungeon boss right now too.

Demo should clock in around a hour.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
