It is always a pleasant feeling, making a friend via a forum.

It is even more pleasant feeling, when you review a game he/she makes, trying to be as objective and fair as possible

and you still praise the job he/she has done.

Dimitri made a really nice horror game, with a very rare element. Horror is absolutely story based.

Has some intriguing points and could develop nicely - but only if the extraordinary number of typos, grammatical errors and spelling mistakes are sorted.

I also wanted to add, don't worry about necroposting. The Project Development boards is an exception to that rule.

I also edited the rules a bit to reflect some possible concern.

Oh, that's great news! I haven't done any reviews on games I've played simply because of worrying about necroposting like this!

It's great to hear those forums are void from that.

Oh, uh, question. Do I have to get this french toast thing, or can I opt out and just post reviews without any kind of expectation like that? 'Cause I just wanna post reviews to a few games that I personally liked. That'd be great. ^^

EDIT: Aw, some of the games I wanted to review have been archived. So those are off limits? It's a shame.

I like the idea of the game, but it feels too rough to recommend at the moment, and you cannot save anywhere as far as I can tell. Maybe good for a challenge?

Hey guys! Certainly not telling anyone what games to play, but it sure would be nice if we could get responses to all the developers that have games in Completed Games and have 0 replies! I just wanted to share this "tip?" with everyone, if you go to the Completed Games forum (or any of the other forums) and then click "Most Replies"

It will then sort the games in order of replies. So then, if you click the little ">>" it will go to the last page.

AKA the games that have the least, and for a couple of pages, 0 replies.  I'm not saying any games are more deserving than any others just passing along a friendly tip that might help anyone wondering which game(s) to review.

Although it is officially in pre-alpha, I've played rougher beta stage games.  This is one to watch in the future.  At the moment, the dev, not being a native English speaker, has serious problems with the dialogue.  There are also a couple of game play issues to sort out.  However, if these are addressed, I think it will be an interesting game.  Visually it is already pretty stunning in places.

I'd recommend it, the only cons seemed to be the common errors of a game in its early stages that just needed another set of eyes to find them.

I think this one could be interesting; there is some decent writing there.  The problem at the moment is that one has to rely on watching the dev's own play throughs, rather than being able to do it oneself.  Although the videos give a good overview, it's not the same experience, obviously.
