Does anyone know how to make a slight delay in the damage popups after the first? When something is hit twice at once, the numbers overlap and are a mess.

That, or random direction popups instead of always the same?


Ok, for future reference the plugin settings don't count // commented out bits as empty. >.>

I can't quite remember exactly, but in the plugin section there is a "custom code" box for stuff like popups, in one of these I had some stuff I had commented out with //. By deleting that, it returned to default behaviour, which worked fine for me.

for anybody that has had issues where "immune" or "null" attacks don't show any popups for numbers / text I made a fix.

All right,

As I am really pride of my self, I will share what I did to have a specific color acording to the skill element. I don't know how to code so, if I did it, you can also do it.

The Yanfly Element core is required.

First, you need to edit the JS file with a software like Notepad ++.

Then I add those six line for the six element I use :

LGP.Param.Earth = 'rgb(94,208,56)';
LGP.Param.Fire = 'rgb(239,125,7)';
LGP.Param.Water = 'rgb(7,97,239)';
LGP.Param.Thunder = 'rgb(254,255,0)';
LGP.Param.Light = 'rgb(131,241,234)';
LGP.Param.Dark = 'rgb(164,56,208)';

You can add more ligne as you need more element (or delete some).
For each element you need to change the rgb code acording to the color you want for the element (the same way you did in the parameters)

Then you need to look for the : if (result.hpAffected)

The next "if" will determine what color will be the pop-up.
The plugin has The barrier color, the critical color or the basic color.
We will add the number of if we need according to the number of element you are using (in my case 6) :

So it will look like this :

result.itemElements == n is the test to see if the element ID is 2 in my system. You have to change it acording to your project.

And here we are. It may be easy for lot of your, but as I said, I don't know how to code and people may be in my situation so I feel it may be useful to share. This plugin is very nice and it's nice that it was abandon.
Sorry to be a necro, but how did you get this to work? I edited the plugin with a version of this and it's not working.

I don't see how Gregaur's code would ever have worked - itemElements is not a single value, but an array.

You'd have to check for the presence of the desired element in the array, not an equality. So

I think you've nested your conditionals incorrectly. Get rid of all the else {} and replace with else if (condition). Right now it is only checking if barrier is affected or result is critical (since critical check is in the first else) and all the subsequent else get ignored

OH MY GOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE I FINALLY FOUND A PLUGIN THAT COMPATIBLE WITH OLIVIA WEAKNESS DISPLAY AND BREAK STATUS ;_; , thankyou so much i also love how the damage pop up it looks so smooth and nice, i was already desperate searching how to show states popup and your script also have that man thankyou.

Ah i just realize it doesn't shown 0 damage now, is it supposed to appear or my other plugin break it?

Edit: nevermind i can just set the minimum damage to 1 atleast better than not showing anything.

Proper localization into several languages on a commercial rpg project might be one of the best signs that the developer is super invested into making the game something high effort, because it ain't cheap to hire good translators.
6 hour drive back from Florida and I was able to plan out 6 mini game Common Events for my Game Jam entry, including a new one I hadn't thought of before. Also had some new ideas to improve what I already have and the post game options to continuing playing the mini games that you liked or didn't get to try. Pretty productive drive.
