[Stardew Valley] by Concerned Ape
Stardew Valley is one of my favourite games to come out of indie Steam and it's both highly addictive and very fun. Like a cross between Harvest Moon, Rune Factory and modern day life, it's a farming simulator where farming is only one part of the game. Raise animals like sheep, cows, rabbits, ducks and slimes or harvest pumpkins, bok choy, corn, maple syrup, apples and ancient fruit or delve into the mines slaying monsters and digging up gold, amethysts, diamonds, crystals and ancient artefacts - all while wooing the villagers (with 10 possible marriage candidates - both male and female).
You can purchase the game now on Steam for $14.99 USD and I gotta say, it's the best $15 I've spent this year so far. No joke. Buy this damn game.
This particular LP is based around a Joja Corporation run where I aim to make big money in order to help out the 'evil' corporation take over the valley. X3
[Slime Rancher] by Monomi Park
Slime Rancher is the cutest game about herding and ranching slimes that ever existed omg please think of the babby slimes! It's currently in Early Access and I can't recommend it enough. Despite still being a WIP, the current versions are quite stable and a lot of fun to putt around in. Also, it's incredibly fricking cute. Currently it is available on Steam for $19.95USD.
[Rogue Harvest] by Genetix Studio
Rogue Harvest is a commercial Indie game that I was given a key for. I tried it out and while there are some aspects that still need a bit of work, overall it's pretty decent as a 2D survival simulation. It's skewed a bit to the hard side but it was pretty fun. If you want to get early access, it's available on Steam for $5.99USD.
[Finding Sailerius] by caspian(???)
This was a troll game that came through the queue at RMN and saw a tiny amount of time on the site before it was denied for various reasons, some of which you can see in the video. It was aimed at some of the members on the site and is pretty stupid, silly and weird. It's... an odd one.
[8-Bit Quest] by X-Tech
8-Bit Quest is a puzzle game made in RPG Maker 2003. It's got some issues here and there but overall was a fun little title with some interesting Pac-Man-esque ideas that led to some frustration but were hard to give up on.
[Streaming Event Games: Swap in the Middle with You] by Various
So there was an event held on RMN over the past couple of weeks where you would make half of a game in one week and complete a game the next. The twist was that the first halves of the games were randomly assigned to different people to finish, resulting in a lot of fun times for all. We ended up with 22 completed games total, and I'm going to stream them all.
The first stream included the following games:
(first half dev/second half dev)
