"Reality and everything that exists matters not." Lie of Caelum is a Sci-fi/Fantasy RPG set in a different universe. The game is heavily character-driven and its strongest feature is a very flashy and versatile turn-based CTB combat system. A fair bit of warning to the audience out there before playing this game: The story will tackle some political, philosophical, religious, and psychological views. In addition, the game will some have suggestive themes and foul language. Spoiler "What exactly is Caelum? Some say it is the perfect Eden. Others, a world that takes away your soul. It is best to refrain from questioning this planet we live in, for we are merely dwellers that the planet allowed to live. This world has given us the power to advance technology like none other before... almost as if it's magic. And yet, we question its existence. Why is it here? What created it? Have we become so arrogant that we treat our own home as a lie? Well, young one. None of that matters. The Planet only seeks those who have ascended beyond knowledge. And taketh, it shall." The Full Game will be about 30-40 hrs of gameplay depending on its reception. The Demo has roughly about 4 hrs. Spoiler The game plays like your typical JRPG, however there are some twists. Its combat system is its significant function, where each character has their own unique playstyle, skillsets, and variations for you to utilize. Team compositions are key to this game.
