Hello,

Is it possible to have a dark room using tints and then also having light coming? Or will it require the tint going up the closer the player gets to the source?

Thanks,

The Tint Screen effect basically puts a film of color over the whole map, even affecting battles scenes. To get the effect you're describing, I'd recommend looking up Khas' Lighting Effects script.

Or any other lighting effects script. Take note though that Lighting scripts are a huge performance hogger. I suggest going far from them unless really needed.

Anyway, it depends on what you want to achieve... If the lights are static (not moving), I suggest just using overlays. They can do much better effects and consume negligible performance than lighting scripts. There is also BustedEd's tutorial for evented lightings.

Alright, thanks. I'll try to see which one will work better for my game.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
