just try out values... I personally never tried out below 0.1 but based from my testings from my other project about a month ago, the actually recognizes even up to 0.000000000000000000 something (based on pixel check on my moving projectile using the console)

I actually just discovered it when debugging one of my scripts... it was supposed to stop when the event reaches a certain point, but it didn't... so I printed out the x values on the console and I was astonished to see that it checks up to more than 10 decimals I think, which was why the x values never became equal (because the lower decimals became inaccurate)...

something like it should stop at 10 pixels, but then the values go like

~9.9000000005xxxxx

~10.000000003xxxxx

things like that...

PS: I think I'm just used to english because I've been in international forums like this since 2008... + we have english subject every year during grade school and high school...

Ah, Interesting. So by helping me you helped yourself? Well thats a win-win situation if there ever was one lol.

Well, I have always been meaning to learn other languages other then English. Preferably Japanese or Chinese, or both. Maybe even Korean. I guess spanish wouldn't hurt either, especially living in the united states, being employed you almost NEED to know spanish to get a job.

Awesome, they are my favorite too, I just have a hard time learning from books etc. I need a teacher but I don't think there are classes for ruby lol

I learned RGSS3 from just reading Yanfly's scripts and trying out things myself... Plus asking here when there's something that I don't know... :)

You are right, Yanfly, Vlue, and others have very good portfolios of scripts. I guess I could do the same as well. I do really like Yanfly's scripts but I just don't know most of the varibles and why she/he does what they do. I guess you learn that as you go, but knowing why someone did something can be very insightful.

I learn by a teacher, Well I learn best that. Like the teacher gives me tasks, small ones at first, then maybe larger scale as you go on. They give me tips and hints. Not hand hold me through, but just does enough to were I actually learn what I need to learn.

If that makes sense.

Though I know exactly what the script you gave me does, except the set direction line.

I understand that pretty well... I learned scripting of wc3 that way... I submitted a resource and the mods forced me to do it using the scripts way, so I was forced to learn it... XD

set direction is used to set direction of the sprite, which I believe is used by the Sprite class to determine which sprite to show from the sheet...

since RM doesn't really have documentation about why the scripts themselves are written like that, you really need to take a deep look at them and try your best to understand... they can be quite hard though, especially the parts for battle processing...

btw, we should stop... this is getting too much Off topic... :)

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
