Light Overlay

Hi Guys!


I'm so sorry. I didn't know if this is the right place to ask about this, but here's the thing:


I'm making my own maps with Gimp and wanto to set some light effects such as light trough the windows.


So, I'd like to know if someone else could teach me how to make my own 'light overlay' effects.


If this isn't the right place to ask about this, please, forgive me, i simply did not find something about this anywhere.
