First post, so hopefully I get the format right.
I've been scouring all the pages and through the whole of VX ace but I am not able to find any place where you can limit the size of the party that's walking. I see that there are so many scripts that can change the size of the party in battle, but I simply want the # of actors walking about to only be a certain amount.
To get an idea of what I am talking about, I want it to be just 2 actors at first, even though you can have 4 in your party. How I'm setting up my game is sort of like pokemon except instead of pocket monsters, it's actual pets like dogs and cats and stuff that are fighting.
Can anyone help me out and point out where I can find the settings or what kind of script I need to build?

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
