Hi everyone, I'm doing a script in the script editor, I need to know what the lines of code are for: showing an image and making a transition (fading the screen) thanks for any answers!

Why are you doing it as a script?

Look in the Game_Interpreter script slot(s), and search for the text you see on the command button. That will give you the script call that's done by the interpreter. For Show Picture, you will probably need to go to the Game_Picture slot and find the method that's called by Game_Interpreter, to see what all the arguments are that you need to pass in.

I will ask the more fundamental question. What are you trying to do? Are you trying to learn how to write a script? Or are you trying to do something to your game? Depends on your answer, I might answer differently. Although, if it's XP, I probably can't help much.

This is the third thread in which you have asked this question. One has already been closed and you were told by a Mod that we do not allow duplicate threads.

[mod]I am closing this one and please note when you have been told something by a Mod using blue text, it is not optional. Deliberately ignoring a Mod action will result in at least a warning, if not suspension.[/mod]

Anyone have advice for recruiting friends to bugtest with you? I had some buddies volunteer without me asking, and we agreed on dates and times... and they all just flaked...

Discovering math. functions for damage formulas was one of the greatest things for me.
It's very useful for balancing skills to work in a variety of possible circumstances.
For example if you have a skill that is supposed to work for both mages and warriors:
Code:
