I first met Linus around 2009, 2011, can't remember right. Honestly I only would download it to steal the resources because I was a brat and couldn't understand a thing of english lmao. But since then I would always appreciate how stunning the game was. Everything was perfectly composed, I couldn't even play at all, but by looking around the editor (that demo was open) I felt enchanted with how all was made.

Luckily, I could find it again nowadays. Unfortunately it's not the same version and this leaves me curious about what was the other about — it started with Leigh's father (Teign? T something, I honestly don't remember haha) and the history with his wife. I can even picture the one scene, in the very beginning, where he was talking to some kind of army official and you could see rain falling over the window (this stills makes me wonder how that worked). But anyway.

I decided to play this version and oh my god, it's no different from the first I've ever played. Even though I couldn't understand a thing when playing the first but well, this one is probably better, isn't?
The parallaxes have only improved; I mean, really. The caves close to that sea were STUNNING. I can't express in words how wonderful the visuals, history and it's pacing is. I felt indeed happy to have the chance to play this game again; so it's really nice how after almost a decade it's still active! In reality I started searching the name "Linus" certain that it was a game already finished from long ago. And then... I had a sweet surprise!

I hope you can improve even more, although I can't imagine how can this game be even better.

Aw, thanks! Funny thing, actually. My own command of the English language was shaky during that old demo, so there were quite a few grammatical/spelling errors. I've gotten a bit more comfortable with English since then, which has caused the game to balloon into something a lot bigger and ambitious.

In any case, I'm glad you remembered the game and looked it up again! :)

Here I am again with my bi-yearly post wondering what the status of this game is :)

Dude, it's so awesome to see you're still working on this. I played the demo probably two years ago, and everything was amazingly written. The mapping was stunning, and the gameplay was outstanding. Can't wait to see what the new stuff is! :)

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
