Where did you get those cliff textures from that waterfall screenshot? That and the grass texture are very unique.

The cliff were made from stones in High Fantasy Pack, I make them more cartoonish
and put them all together. The grass texture were random graphics, but it's temporary,
I'll replace them one after another continually.

*Edited = the grass texture is using High Fantasy tileset now.

My apologize, It's been a long time since the last time I updated the credits section in the first page.
(The last time it was updated, the game is still using RTP and High Fantasy Pack I & II)
The game contents and its resource has been changed and replaced continually and I'm a bit lost in
compiling the credits. Thanks for the reminder. I'll make sure the final product for the game demo
will not using these ripped/uncredited graphics.

Teirra Map update~

I replaced previous grass texture with grass tileset from high fantasy pack.
I also replaced RTP graphics for stones, flower and plant with the one from high fantasy pack.
Now everything in the map has the same graphic style, it's half-realistic with strong colors.

It's been a while. :) I'm back to work on this project after
the Three Visions and War of Thrones finished last year.

here's the latest map update. I'll use Celianna's futuristic tileset +
High Fantasy Pack from VX Ace + RPG maker MV RTP for its final release.
It still has issue with consistency though, so I'll find a way to mix them better.



As for the story and plot, I'll find a partner to polish them and
change the usual "magic academy trope" into something fresh.
the main goal is to build the intricate world with the magic academy
as part of it. gameplay update will be posted soon.

No, I'm still working on avelions 5 demo and avelions 4 english translation at the same time.

Hello everyone!^^ Finally I managed to complete Avelions 4 English translation.
You can find that game in Completed Games. Now, I'm going back to work
on this project.

First things first, I've made some changes in the story and character profile.
The ATE (Active Time Event) in this game is part of Lucain's ability now.

Here's the updated character profile, it's much simpler than the previous one.
*I updated the first post with more detail & world setting too. :)



Also, I added some pictures for the game feature :



You'll play as two different groups throughout the game, and may switch between the two party leaders when you get a flash message. This feature is optional though, as it gives the player the ability to view other perspectives that are happening at the same time elsewhere in the floating crystal islands. You'll have a full-risk decision making based on these perspectives.



Sleeping at night will restore your AP, and having three meals a day will keep your AP recharge rate optimal. You'll also find a variety of activities in each city, or academy. Such activities include monster hunting, magic training, doing exams, ranking duels, attending special events, gardening, part-time jobs or side-missions. Most activities take time, so, suffice it to say, keep watch on what you're doing, and when!

BATTLE SYSTEM Updates

I decided to use Linear Motion Battle System (aka Full Motion Battle System)
by Moghunter this time. It's a linear battle system with free movement where
the action happens in real time.



Keyboard Layout :

BP, AP, and Elmsh Gauge Detail :

BARRIER POINTS
Similar to Hit Points, except you CAN'T restore barrier points by using
healing items or sleep. You must repair your Astral Raid Armor to restore
the BP a character has. Strategical decisions are needed before you go out for
a mission or monster hunting.

ACTION POINTS
You'll spend AP to do everything in this game. Daily activities like eating,
sleeping, take a bath & studying cost small amount of AP. But heavy work like
monster hunting, mantra casting & doing part time jobs cost great amount of it.
Manage your AP wisely the whole day.

ELMSH GAUGE
Basically it's TP in the default system. It has similar mechanic, Elmsh Gauge
will be filled in the battle. Battle action such as Attacking, defending and casting
specific Mantra will give you more points. You'll use Elmsh points
to cast Mantra & Full Sync Mantra.

(A) Attack -> Normal Attack, including Punch, Kick, Slash, Arrow & Bullet.
(S) Special -> Shorcut for Combo, Artes, Mantra & Full Sync Mantra
(D) Defend -> Activate Astral Barrier to protect yourself from foe's attacks.

(Shift) Hold this key with Arrow Key to Run or Dash in the air
(Jump) There's a character who can do a double jump, and there's another
one who can jump higher than the others.

(Q) and (W) You'll be able to switch the active character, just like
in Tales series.

(ESC) To open up two important menu : Inventory and Install Mantra.
You can change your active Mantra in the battle.

ELMSH SPIRIT



It costs 100% Elmsh Gauge to manifest the maximum power of the Elmsh Sphere
into a powerful mythical being called Elmsh Spirit. You can alter their attack
and get bonus stats by fusing another sphere into their Modifier slots.
*There are various creatures & heroes from Indonesian folklore like Gatot Kaca, Buto ijo,
Wiro Sableng, Gundala, etc :)

ELMSH PARTICLES - ELEMENTAL CHART

This is the elemental chart / correlation for 18 Basic Elmsh Particles,
more elemental chart for Advance, Alternate and Artificial will be updated soon.
If you're familiar with Elements Combination in Naruto series/manga then
you'll find similarities with this huge elemental chart. There will be Magma (Lava),
Cloud, Sound, Steel, Distortion, Gravity and the list goes on until 361 type of elementals.

Well, i took a quick look at the synopsis and oh my, still see some weird names from the previous version but we cant help it since this is a sequel. At least the MC's names are good and readable now.
Btw, the character menu looks really cool. You seem to have artistic for UI i must say.

I'm actually having a ton of high quality busts, cutscenes and manga in the progess which ares tored in the cloud, some are almost done, but most still unfinished because, firstly i have too many ideas that i wanna work on and draft them first hand, secondly my cheap @ss graphics tablet has been broken a while ago. I'm having a huge trouble getting a fine nice strokes with it, therefore line art couldn't be done. And you know, when your line art isn't good and final, your artwork will look messy and unprofessional.
So as you can see a little bit of that trouble by looking at what i have posted, like, none of them is finished at all. Nowadays, I usually do some quick sketches or painting, and post them on tweeter or pixiv, just for the sake of keeping my profile updated, lol. Pretty sad. I'm trying to save money to buy an actual good graphics tablet product. I hope to get my works done in the near future.
And dude, you are so humble. You have done a handful of nice work based on what i seen from the videos that showcases your gameplay. And here you are still trying to learn more and keep on improving. I love how passionate you are. And you actually have talent and are dedicated to the job. Unlike some people, their testing projects are their commercial ones. Putting really low quality games which were made in like 1 year on steam and such, then call it a day, urge to get as much money as they can from that half @ss and low vision game and I kid you not they might even make sequels for it if the sales are not too bad despite of negative feedback.
So keep up your good work, buddy. You have enough potential to be big someday. Cheers!

Your post raises the bar of my confidence, A LOT.haha Just checked your artwork in pixiv, c'mon man, you're an awesome artist! You really ought to get such praises, not me. I'm really bad in doing both pixel art and line art, writing (Both story and dialogue, obviously.), quest design, etc. Even after I did more things I'm terrible at, the effort had no fruition. The worst part of it, I'm suck at building partnership while working on game projects ( It's so silly, I bet you'll laugh at me. XD ). That's why, commercial project is not my concern atm.

Yeah, I simplify recent games' character naming, and give "readable" nickname for the old characters. I also changed some important names, make them memorable. Hopefully. :)

At first i didn't pay much attention, but then i rewatched the video and screenshots, i think your map making is also very good even with those stock and "out of date" assets (I'm not familiar with Vx ace so i can't know if all of them were stock or not). Thus, I'm dealing with a major inconsistency in these assets right now. To be fair, these screenshots don't do justice to the game yet (I found that the trees are weird in that style. I mean, the wind blows, but the leaves and trunks stand still. The original one looks nicer since it's in 2D art as a whole.). But thank you for liking it. Can you do stuff like making tilesets, sprites and other graphics? I think you can at least modify and editing them right?
I mean i like your mapping even on the version 4 game, the 2d style one. It is with high artistic skill in my opinion.
P/s: yeah get the demo version out, i'm ready to play it. I didn't play the 4th one because it was made in Vx Ace, low resolution and small screen, i don't like it.
