Where did you get those cliff textures from that waterfall screenshot? That and the grass texture are very unique.
Considering you're using graphics from other games, please do note that you are. We don't condone ripped graphics, but will allow you to post your project.
Also, my name from the credit list is missing as well (Futuristic Tiles).
oh, I saw also your previous games! Good luck!![]()
Well, i took a quick look at the synopsis and oh my, still see some weird names from the previous version but we cant help it since this is a sequel. At least the MC's names are good and readable now.
Btw, the character menu looks really cool. You seem to have artistic for UI i must say.
That's good for you. I am, on the other hand, on the opposite. I like doing things about art, but UI is what i like the least. So i hope one day we can make a use of our talent and help each other out on our projects. That'd be a nice trade off and also, you know, making relationship, lol.Hey there, sorry for not replying earlier. Thank you! Yes, the game UI and HUD are things I like to do the most, I almost have finished all of it. Oh dang, you're right. These weird names are in the game lore already, I forgot that.lol Since it's still in the same universe, I guess I can't help it, changing them is not an option too.![]()

Yes, i do.off topic, do you make character bust / picture in various poses too? Sure why not, actually I'd love to help each other, I'm just too shy to ask it to the other fellow RM developers. They're great and I lack confidence in myself.
Yes, i do.
I'm actually having a ton of high quality busts, cutscenes and manga in the progess which ares tored in the cloud, some are almost done, but most still unfinished because, firstly i have too many ideas that i wanna work on and draft them first hand, secondly my cheap @ss graphics tablet has been broken a while ago. I'm having a huge trouble getting a fine nice strokes with it, therefore line art couldn't be done. And you know, when your line art isn't good and final, your artwork will look messy and unprofessional.
So as you can see a little bit of that trouble by looking at what i have posted, like, none of them is finished at all. Nowadays, I usually do some quick sketches or painting, and post them on tweeter or pixiv, just for the sake of keeping my profile updated, lol. Pretty sad. I'm trying to save money to buy an actual good graphics tablet product. I hope to get my works done in the near future.
And dude, you are so humble. You have done a handful of nice work based on what i seen from the videos that showcases your gameplay. And here you are still trying to learn more and keep on improving. I love how passionate you are. And you actually have talent and are dedicated to the job. Unlike some people, their testing projects are their commercial ones. Putting really low quality games which were made in like 1 year on steam and such, then call it a day, urge to get as much money as they can from that half @ss and low vision game and I kid you not they might even make sequels for it if the sales are not too bad despite of negative feedback.
So keep up your good work, buddy. You have enough potential to be big someday. Cheers!
P/s: and you have promised, dont give me nightmare of reading those hentai naming scheme again lol
Morale + 100 huh? lol. 1 thing i have to point out, is your map design is good too. I really mean it. At first i didn't pay much attention, but then i rewatched the video and screenshots, i think your map making is also very good even with those stock and "out of date" assets (I'm not familiar with Vx ace so i can't know if all of them were stock or not). Dude, Since your games are not commercial,Thank you so much! I'd never thought someone would be kind enough to give me such morale-boosting words. Your post raises the bar of my confidence, A LOT.haha Just checked your artwork in pixiv, c'mon man, you're an awesome artist! You really ought to get such praises, not me. I'm really bad in doing both pixel art and line art, writing (Both story and dialogue, obviously.), quest design, etc. Even after I did more things I'm terrible at, the effort had no fruition. The worst part of it, I'm suck at building partnership while working on game projects ( It's so silly, I bet you'll laugh at me. XD ). That's why, commercial project is not my concern atm.
Yeah, I simplify recent games' character naming, and give "readable" nickname for the old characters. I also changed some important names, make them memorable. Hopefully.![]()

Dude, Since your games are not commercial, are you planning to use all the nice and free resources that people have put out on the forums for the newest game, Avelions 5? I would love to see what you can do with those tilesets and such. Let make it gorgeous.Don't read the last question, i just read this thread more carefully and got the answer. Btw, version 5 looking very solid, at least the art design and graphics are. Remind me of ps2 era but with higher resolution, lol.
Can you do stuff like making tilesets, sprites and other graphics? I think you can at least modify and editing them right?Yes, morale +100 is more than enough! lol Thanks! The map design is a blend that combines "old" and "new" assets, they're a different size and style. Thus, I'm dealing with a major inconsistency in these assets right now. To be fair, these screenshots don't do justice to the game yet (I found that the trees are weird in that style. I mean, the wind blows, but the leaves and trunks stand still. The original one looks nicer since it's in 2D art as a whole.). But thank you for liking it. I'll be sure to do an extensive polish on dialogue and plot before the game demo out.
