Location-by-time

OK, so there's an aspect I'd like to toss into my game, and while I can find time/day scripts, I can't find anything to make people move according to this.

A couple examples of what I want:

Rune Factory: Katrina opens the store at 6AM, and works until 2PM, when her mother takes over the remainder of the time open.  she then runs around town, doing errands, until she returns home at 8.

Majora's Mask: Anju leaves her room at 8, opens the Inn at 9, if you talk to her from 10-11 you can steal a Goron's room, etc.

To be clear, I'm looking for something more precise than a simple "man is outside during day, and inside at night" concept.  I want to schedule everybody's day to the minute

Take a look at Touchfuzzy's latest blog entries. Still in the early stages, but he is doing exactly what you're describing here, and is documenting the process as he goes.

Because you don't need a script to do those extra things... Once you have a script or common event system for time/day, everything else is already doable via the event itself... You just need some practice and so on to do it efficiently

Should be the same exact concept as "man in inside at night".  You just have to put in the legwork to create every part of every person's schedule.  No shortcuts!

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
