Art Style: RTP

Description: Looking for a handheld flamethrower/liquid nitrogen canister to be used by my Hero SV Battler. Having blue 'fire' or 'steam' would be a plus, but its the flamethrower itself is giving me trouble. I actually don't want the 'shark face' bit, I imagine that should make it a bit easier? Thanks in advance, and let me know if there's anything else that can help! EDIT: Just thought I'd mention, I'm using Yanfly's weapon animation plugin.

This seemed like a fun idea, so I threw one together. It's just the body of the flamethrower since I figure any flames would probably look better as an animation, but hopefully it can get you started. :)

I must say, though, I'm actually very surprised with how not-terrible mine came out. Just can't get the shading to match the RTP style like yours does so effortlessly! Thanks again!

You're welcome. :) Your attempt isn't bad at all, I've found the best way to match the rtp is to check out the colors they use and why they use them (like the tops of things being brighter since more light hits them). If you'd like to get feedback on yours so you can improve, please post it in the WIP thread.

Unfortunately, while trying to run an app I needed (curse you, Adobe!), my laptop blacked out, so my data got wiped when I got it repaired. Stuff like facesets are saved in my drive, but my sprites now only exist as screenshots I've taken in the past :kaocry:To be fair, I'm a little relieved, since I've been feeling unsatisfied with the visual style of the character sprites, and I guess I can now revamp them?

after lot's of edits to Mike's attacks (to make it seamless with movement, no EX versions, cost 1-ups), I finally got combo skills to work. had to do a lot moving tho to get the combo list to appear where it is lol. that actually took longer than setting up the moves.
What's kind of amazing is I've been in a developmental rut for the LONGEST time but putting a music mix on of video game soundtracks and specifically hearing the VX Ace music come up and it's nostalgia of me being excited to make my first game has REALLY got me going again!
