Looking for a script which displays a text window without pausing the player's movement

Hello. I am searching for some kind of script which runs selected Show Text commands without pausing the game flow (similarly to parallel events). Basically, I want the player to be able to move and interact with certain things normally while text is being shown on screen, just like how the default Show Text command works. I have seen that in various games, and I wonder if that is possible with RPG Maker (VX Ace) too.

Is there any script that does that?

Note: I am already aware of Yanfly's Gab Window script. It is not what I am looking for.

Gab Window scripts would be the only way to have this done as text.
If you do not want to use them, then the only alternatives are either show picture with the picture of a text box, or using a HUD-type script.
Unfortunately most HUD-Type scripts focus on non-text-displays and a static framework - but they should be an alternative.
