Looking for a Software to combine images without losing transparency

Anyone know it?

I tried Photoscape and it's not really convenient due to the losing image transparency i can't create sprite well

I use GIMP for image editing. It's free and has plenty of options (including transparency).

Paint.net is really easy to use. Also free.

is it manually image reposition or can just add to next image?
i got cylinder eye, it's kinda hard to me to tell the position is right or not..

Until how MS paint was the only image program I heard of that destroys transparency

so they're manually reposition afterall.
i was looking for an image combining software that convinient like photoscape but it made me lose the transparency after export it to sprite sheet.

Guess i should try to learn manually calculate with gimp or etc then

Use grid and snap to grid.
If the images were of the correct size and alignment before combining, that will be enough.
And if they weren't correct in that point before, you would have to manually correct anyway
