If anyone knows good resources for these items, please let me know!
I'm working with RPG Maker VX Ace and looking for some modern icon set for weapons mostly. Pistols, rifles, some guns with a blade, etc. Not looking for futuristic stuff, just modern/a decade ahead of current weapons and items characters can use.
Also a set of icons for modern-related items and objects. This can be a bit more futuristic; imagine stuff you see in a mad scientist's lab. Can also include mundane things like a bus stop, a billboard, etc. or even military-theme like a tank, some turret, missiles, etc. Especially a police car.
Now onto the character sprites (I assume this is what those multi-angle view of sprites called). I am looking for some modern combat genre sprites, for example a police officer (male and female), a soldier, a special task force member, an elite guard, etc. Anything fancy, modern, and can fight. However not too futuristic, like a cyborg.
Since I wanna involved some kind of government figures, office workers or other job specialty type sprites will be cool too.
Additionally, character sprites of creepy/eerie looking monsters/mutated humans are good too. They don't have to be big like a boss type, but variety is appreciated.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
