Hi!

Resource Type: (Sprite or tileset) -I would prefer a spriteset, but a tile would be just fine!

Maker Format: (VX,Ace)

Art Style: (RTP, Mack) EDIT: While this would be ideal, not obligatory!

Description: (I’m looking for a tileset/character sprite for paper windmills. Various colors would be great! (Red, white, blue…) The idea Is for planting then on the ground. The bigger the better!

Hi there!
I just threw something together. Is that kind of what you had in mind? I made it 7 tiles tall, but I can make variations and different sizes, if need be. Unfortunately I am not good at imitating RTP styles, but maybe someone would be willing to edit them to fit the style better.
I could animate it for you, though, if you like.

yep, one of those thingies that I had to look for quite a time to learn the name! I would apreciate it a lot if you could make it rotate. And seven tiles tall is really cool!

I think for variations, half the size would nice. And different colors like white and red (if black if possible, that would be fine, but is allright!)

It would be nice if someone could edit it to RTP or mack, but like this would be fine too!

Thanks for your time!

If you could give an exact size I might be able to. I did make a small 32 by 32 one.PinWheel.png

Im bad saying stuff about that, but... as big as a mac sprite or a Ace rtp tree pine would be nice. It would be a nice complement for the big one posted avobe. Love the colors!

I'm not sure what size those are lol if you can find the size out in pixels, I'd be happy to make it.

Yeah, no worries. I'll even do a simple 3 frame animation for it.

Okay, finally at home I could check my notes. So, it turns out i need it big xD

It is okay if I ask for 150x252 pixels? Basically, the size of the one posted avobe by Sevarihk. I realized I would need it in various sizes, but I can resize it later myself if I need it. If it too big, please tell me! xD

I would be gratefull for an animation!

Just wanted to let you know that I am still working on the animation and haven't forgotten about your request. I just wanted to actually animate the shadows when the windmill turns, so it takes a little more time and effort. But I would rather sit on it longer than just spin the image around, which would result in frames in which the shadows are on the top...

Hi again! So, I had to scrap my first animation attempt, because I was too careless with little errors that slowly did add up to a point where the whole animation looked wonky..
But now I finally found the motivation to just redo it from the beginning and this time it turned out much better.
This is what the animation looks like now. If you like it, I can formate it as a VX charset and add aditional colours and maybe a shorter version, too. That should only be a matter of a few minutes.

I love it! It looks even better than before! Thank you for giving it such effort!

Okay, I finally found the time to put them in the right formate for MV.
Since the animation has 16 frames and since MV only works with "face down" "face left" etc. , it's a little more complicated. I made a little graphic to explain in what order the frames are meant to be played.

If you know a better way to animate so many frames in MV, please tell me about it :kaoeh:

And here are the sprites:

Hope they work for you. If you need any changes or specific colours, just tell me.

So freaking sorry for the late reply! I saw the post ages ago, but work stuff…

Thank you so much for taking so much effort in my request! To think you went with so much trouble, seriously, thank you for your time.

I use VX/Ace, but I don’t think there is a difference with MV, in the sprite-behavior department. I got confused with how to use it, but discovered it pretty quickly (turn command and high movement)

By the way: lTHANK YOU FOR ALL THE RECOLORS! I don’t think I with need more than that xD

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
