Looking for simple mini-games

Sorry if I'm asking in the wrong place, but do any of you know where I can find minigame scripts or tutorials for how to make minigames through eventing that are accessible to beginners?

I'm trying to make a set of events in my game for when the player goes to work. I want them to do a few mini-games each time, and they get paid more or less based on how well they do.

Can't imagine there'd be a tutorial that explains anything helpful about such a woolly vague topic.

At first you'll need some ideas what exactly the minigames or microgames should be at all.

Any type of minigame would be fine, really. They could be QTE based, a quiz, about collecting certain items, whatever. Odds are I can adjust them to this work. The character will be working at a bakery, so a fishing minigame may not work but most things can be changed to somehow work in context.

A quiz would definitely be easy to implement! Just use a text box to ask the question, then use the show choices option for the answers. You can continue on from there.

One thing you can try is to look up how to create puzzles. Moving something from one place to another for example. Then have the player repeat it several times to simulate working. I have lots of minigames in my game with no scripts. It just requires using different parts of the rpg maker engine.
