Hello,
I’m looking for a 16-bit SNES style(Not Mega Drive, 8-bit or Chip Tune.) music pack that fits the jrpg genre(FF, Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire.)that can be used commercially. These seem to be hard to come by but really give a game an authentic retro feel. Does anyone have anything they recommend?

An sfx pack would also be awesome!

Hmm...

Found this (some original/remix here): https://www.williamkage.com/music/
Classics: https://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/
SoundFonts: https://woolyss.com/chipmusic-soundfonts.php, https://www.williamkage.com/snes_soundfonts/#ct_soundfont
Other tools:
https://www.drpetter.se/projects.html
http://picopicose.com/software.html

I've imported some soundfonts into fruityloops and messed around with the some tools but dang I'm really just not very good at making the music sadly...

I'm also interest in what others have to offer.

Thanks! I like William Kage’s stuff, but I’ve heard music made with Soundfonts are illegal for commercial projects. Or it seems it’s at least a gray area. Bummer.

Trying to find something I could use commercially.

Right right, same thoughts here honestly...

Just found more info...
Can use this to make your own sounds
Another Version: http://www.superflashbros.net/as3sfxr/

Also this:

Might be helpful? idk...

Still looking for pre-made nice music that's royalty free and able to be used without worry though.

Edit:
Maybe here...
@YouFulca is that right? Good to use as long as we give credit to "YouFulca" and/or the web site (Wingless Seraph) correct?

Seems good to use I think...

You can look for music on Newsgrounds.com. The users are fine with people using their music as long as they get credit.

You can find some good music on soundimage.org or the free music pack on rpgmaker.net. :)

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
