Looking for someone to make joke songs

Hey guys Boty Xof here and we need someone to make 2 joke songs for our game! you dont need experience or to put effort into it. Just dont make it so bad that people want to mute the game. One song will be for the overworld (which takes place in a run down city.) The other is for a boss fight against a giant man. Thanks for reading!

What kind of 'joke' songs? Like, how long do they have to be, what kind of humor, is there a specific kind of genre or feel you're going for?

@standardplayer at most itll have to be minute 30 since we can just loop it. as for the humor you can literally just put fart noises and that'll work. just something ridiculous. the boss fight will have to be a bit creepy but you can still add fart noises were not stopping you.

Haha you're speaking my language. But are these just supposed to be funny sounding songs? I guess by joke songs I was wondering if they required lyrics?

@standardplayer you dont have to at all but if you added lyrics that would be amazing! if you want an idea for the type of humor were going for heres an image for inspiration.

Hahaaaaa, I love all sorts of humor, but farts will always be funny to me. I'm gonna work on something, but my setup is crap right now, so definitely accept other work if someone beats me to it.

Np, I'm really looking forward to this lol. One last (maybe not last) question. Is this something that meant to sound 8 bit, 16, 32 etc? Like a MIDI type of sound, or something more modern? Any comparisons would be nice, if you don't have any that's fine, just want to make sure it fits anything else you might be using in the project

@standardplayer the game is in a pixel art style but you can do whatever is easy or you think is funny! honestly, if we ended up adding clashing songs it would just be funny lol. also, feel free to ask any questions were here all night!

So I kind of want to do an intro-esque track, too...I can't imagined you'd be opposed to a third track that you didn't ask for that you aren't obligated to use in any way, so long as I get you the two you were asking for.

If I were to add lyrics to any one, it would be that.

@CluelessCat Had to get a new comp, old one's soundcard was going. I was losing my left channel consistently, and that rig sucked anyway. I'm gonna have to buy a new copy of the music program I use, the other was 12 versions out of date and doesn't have a key I can reuse. However, I haven't forgotten about you all, I may have to wait til Friday to get some $ tho.

I do still want the program, so I'd be getting it anyway.
