RMMV Looking to contact Fallen Angel Olivia...

I bought a couple of Olivia's plugins for MV and I read the Terms of Service that were attached to them so I know that I can modify the code to fit my needs. Unfortunately, the code is unreadable. Most script-writers make the code neat and I can usually find what I need easily and quickly, sometimes even being able to fix it for myself... But these codes have no indenting and no structure that I can see... I can't read them at all.

I need a change to one of the plugins for my game, but I don't want to post the script here since it's a paid script and that would be wrong. Plus, asking someone for help to fix the script and expecting them to pay for the script would also be wrong. I guess I could get lucky and find someone that already has it, but the chances are low.

So, I'm looking for a way to contact the author, Fallen Angel Olivia, of the script themselves to see if they could help me with a patch or edit... I have looked everywhere i can think of to find an email address or something to contact them myself, but have come up empty.

I'm not sure I'm in the right place to ask this, but it's the closest forum to what I was wanting. If you can help me out that would be great.

let another fix the issue = only true if he/she own the plugin itself.

but contacting her would be hard, as it might be only possible by
discord of visustella I believe where she might be in.

but otherwise, if not, I dont know if there is any way to contact here.
so far I read is that she kinda goed off the grid, but still making plugin.

but I wish you good of luck getting in touch of her though.

@firestalker I'm in the same boat as you dude. I bought Olivia's Victory Sequence UI plugin w/o realizing it was obfuscated. This was like last year tho. Ofc, I'd have no qualms if the plugin worked. But alas, it just throws an error at the end of combat.

So if you manage to get a hold of her, please do let us know. ^.^

I recently encountered the same problem and solved it by deobfuscating the plugin. I don't know how ethical this is, so I won't post any links, but in fact if the description of the plugin says that you can edit the code, so deobfuscation is nothing but editing. If you need it, feel free to pm.

My guess is not very ethical, but this might not be possible anymore anyway. Especially if she obfuscated the code in a similar manner that Visustella has done with their plugins now.

It begs the question why many of these devs seem to vanish without a trace, but then still expect their users to pay for their plugins.
I rarely have a positive word to say about the music plugin industry, but the one nice thing I can say is usually when a company or independent developer is stepping out of the scene, they usually release all of their software for free with the simple terms saying "It's downloaded as is. No more updates. No more support."
I had a recent run in with one of Aries plugins (which I think use to be part of that VS, Olivia, etc group) where there was a typo in the code rendering part of the plugin unusable. (Also that's a rant for another time, but QA on plugins baffles me...) I had attempted to reach out through several means, but was unable to get a hold of Aries.
It's just so incredibly unprofessional. At least Aries de-obfuscated their code, but I'm too much of a dummy to fix this stuff myself, I had to go grovel to my programming friend to take a look at it so I didn't feel like I wasted the money I spent on the plugin, and after she had some coffee, she noticed the typo and told me about it.

Thanks for the discord number... I got a hold of her and got the problem fixed easily and quickly... She was nice and courteous. She asked me what I wanted to be changed and made the change immediately. It was great.
