So i'm looking to mod a core mv js Auto Battle script if i can locate something in MV in one of the js files, but doing find for Fight and Auto led me no where, fight returns nothing related to auto and auto gives me other things not related to fight.

What i'm trying to do is, allow Auto Battle to select randomly a Skill or Normal Attack, and not just auto battle with normal attack which i believe is default, although for some reason sometimes the magic works, but its not working atm for me. IDK why? Turned off all plugs and still not working.

So i need to mod a core js file if you know what function to find in them. Auto Fight returns zero.

Thank you.

I also tried battle and auto battle nothing in files.

Interestingly, I can't find them either. The only thing I've been able to find is Game_Enemy.prototype.selectAction, but that is not applied to friendlies I guess.

Things that are in list/drop-down boxes are usually referred to as numbers in the game. This is probably why you couldn't find them if you were searching for strings.

I would advise against modifying core files. Copy the functions you want to change and put them into a plugin and make the changes there. That makes it easier to take MV updates when they're available, update your project's core files, and not have to go back and redo your changes.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
