I'm looking for a small project to work on.  I'd prefer something that isn't planning on having a 5 yr development plan.  I prefer fantasy based games, good story is a MUST and a nice romance is a perk :)

When you contact me I need:

    • A brief story description. A paragraph at most, if I'm interested I'll ask for more information, but I'd like something that can catch my interest the second I read it
    • A precise amount of work that needs to be done. 15-20 sprites is not a precise number
    • An estimated release date
I will not work on commercial projects through this add, no revenue share, no percentages, only 100% free projects.  If you're interested in contacting me for commercial work, contact me for more information.

    Now, for what I offer:

    Mapping: XP Editor or parallax:

(ignore the selection boxes, it was a print screen

I also do some digital work, but it takes me a pretty good bit of time so I don't know that I'm offering it.... but here's an example anyways:

I just made a post where I was looking for an artist.  I'll give you a link below but in short it hopefully will be a commercial project but who knows if it ever makes it, but I'm not going to offer you percentage of some game that in the end might not make a penny.  I would pay you by the task as that's probably the best route for an artist such as yourself.

Anywho I do have a couple questions:

    1) The mapping, it looks absolutely beautiful, did you make it with the basics that RPG Maker VX gives you or did you use more than that?

    2) The digital art, you said it took you awhile to do the work but would you be capable of doing it often?  I would like characters like you provided for the text in the game so that they feel more important and are better visuals, but if I'm going to use them I need every character to look right.  Meaning I don't want to pay you for a few characters and then pay someone else if you two have different art styles that would look odd in the game.

I have other questions but we can discuss them via email.  If you're interested contact me, here's the link i mentioned earlier http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/15065-artist-for-hire-not-me-you/

Sorry, i dont work on commercial projects for free, if youd like to contact me for a comission feel free but this ad is noncommercial only

The map i made in the editor was done in xp the other i think was mostly xp rtp might have had some other stuff thrown in though, i cant remember

Honestly id suggest looking elsewhere if you're looking to for digital, i think there are a lot of artists out there with a better skillset than mine, but if you still wanted me to do it you can contact me for more info

Well seeing as I NEVER said free and said several times I would PAY for the work I have no idea how you came to that conclusion.  To avoid confusion I won't be working with you, I'd like to find someone with English as their first language

That would be quite a good plan since im not really accepting new commissions at this time. I apologize if it was taken the wrong way, when i've made offers like this in the past i get a rediculously high % of people who send me links to commercial projects

To everyone else, thank you for the messages but please answer the questions in my post when you contact me. "I have a game" doesnt tell me much about the project. Thanks :)
