Looping .ogg music in RMMV

I did a brief search for matching threads; If a thread like this already exists, I apologize.

In RPGMaker VX Ace, it was possible to loop OGG music files without playing the intro more than once by entering LOOPSTART, and LOOPLENGTH in the metadata. I assumed this would also be a thing in MV, however it doesn't seem that MV acknowledges this metadata at all.


Upon looking into this further, I've noticed that the music that comes with MV also has this metadata in place, meaning that it should work, right? Except it also seems that most, if not all of the default music doesn't even need the metadata in order to loop seemlessly, as none of the music has any sort of intro to skip. It's kind of important to me for this to work, as almost all of the music I plan on using has some sort of intro that should only play once.


I'd like to know if anyone else has noticed this yet. I've looked around, but haven't found anyone else mentioning the issue.


I was having trouble with this as well, but I figured it out.   I'll show what worked for me and this will be especially beneficial to composers. Your tracks will be able to have an intro, set a point of looping, then revert back to the point of looping! Just like @Shu...    I had been using LOOPSTART and LOOPEND tags (which I'm confidant are fairly universal...? I could be wrong though.)
MV doesn't look for a LOOPEND tag, it looks for a LOOPLENGTH tag.  (Why, MV? Why????)

So I set the appropriate tags:





exported the audio file as usual, and set the metadata...:





I don't know if there are ways to edit the metadata in pieces already saved, but hopefully this should help some people...
