I want to make it so, for example, the character levels up from level 2 to level 3 and gets a new skill. But then they take a bunch of damage and lose alot of exp, in turn falling back to level 2, and losing that skill they got from levelling to 3.
I tried messing around with the battle and common events system, and I can sort of do it, but only pretty badly and it doesn't really work.
You can make it so an enemy uses a skill instead of basic attack on default, and then have the common event for the skill make the character lose exp. If I do it like that though, they always lose exp, even the attack misses. Also when the character levels down because of this, like from level 3 to 2, they still have the skill they got at level 3 even though they're not level 3 anymore.
I am hoping is a better way to do this
