I have been working for months on a project of mine. It was just starting to get really good, too, until my computer kept freezing. I saved my work and then held down the power button on my laptop until it turned off. Now I've turned my laptop back on and everything is safe EXCEPT for the project file. I have the application and all of the save files. I still have all of the graphics and audio and such, just not the project file itself. Is there any way that I can retrieve it from somewhere, somehow? Please help!

Create a new project and copy the project file from the new project into your old project.  Once you get past that though, it might give you similar errors with your database file.

Is there any chance your project is saved in a location that's backed up to an online repository?  Like steam, dropbox, onedrive, skydrive, etc?  If it is, I'd move it asap, because after saving your work, it still has to sync with the online source, and if the computer shuts down while that's happening, it could be devastating to your project files.

I actually tried that right before you answered this and it works perfectly well so far. Thank you so much! I'll definitely be a lot more careful with my work now and back it up online.

Just make sure you don't use an auto-syncing thing - if you back it up to dropbox, do it by having your project in a non-dropbox folder, and then copy it over to the dropbox folder whenever you want to back up.  An on-site backup would be fine, too.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
