So now we can customize the resolution, tile size etc and have a freedom we never had before. Still, it's really hard to make a low res game with the default menus! I have the option of 2x or 3x scaling all my graphics, however that isn't cost efficient as i'll be asking 4 times (or 9 times in the case of 3x scaling) the really necessary power to render my game -- especially tough since I plan to use 100%¨parallax backgrounds as my games are handdrawn. (WITH QUASI'S AMAZING MOVEMENT SCRIPT) Also, lower resolutions tend to be much more scaling friendly. So I'd like to ask for a plugin that rearranges menus so they fit on small resolutions (preferrably integrating the yanfly core customization options, such as line size etc. so it is flexible as well) and optimized for 16:9 aspect ratio.
Some resolutions:
240x160 (gba)
320x180
480x270
As well as a system to better position the battlers in case of a lower resolution (though I suspect yanfly's might do that?)

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
