Would it be possible to add color codes to the Quest Helper?

@IAmJakeSauvage A1 is the ground layer. What you're looking to do is put an image below the ground layer (A1tiles), correct? You can do that with the default RMMV parallax layer. Though you will never see anything behind the ground layer, the only time you would need to do this is if you have transparent tiles or a section with no tiles at all.

@Solis Yes! The next update will have this, in fact I've already added this and a few bug fixes on the weekend and the update should be ready tomorrow or Friday after some testing and a few more features are added.

Great! I'm excited to check them out. I'm planning to purchase a commercial copy if it "works" the way I would like. I'd also like a way to get rid of the background/add a background image on the objective (active) :D

So far, it seems pretty clean too.

I've added the background option on the weekend as well. I previously had the option of adding an objective image. It would work the same way as the colors, you would have active, failed and complete images that would overlay on the quest in the quest list. I'll see what I can accomplish by Friday(on top of my commissions and other plugin updates). If I can't do it I'll add it the next update which will be near the end of the month.

Anyways, the quest plugin will be worked on for as long as it takes for me to see the final vision I have for it. So, It will most likely work the way you want it ;)

I have lots of sections with broken up tiles, or transparent tiles and it would help to be able to layer then like in Galenmereth's now unsupported plugin "Bind Pictures to Map". :kaocry:

@IAmJakeSauvage I will see what I can do for the next release of my Layers plugin. It probably won't be released today, I'm more focused on my newest plugins and the Quest Journal at the moment. I do promise to look into it though, so no worries.

So, I woke up bright and early and started fleshing out some bugs and adding new features for the Quest Journal. On top of that, I've almost finished two new plugins. I still have a bit of work to go but things are looking good.

Before I can release the Quest Journal I will have to make sure I finish up the editor. A little while back I started to fix up the Quest editor by improving performance and cleaning up the UI a little bit. I also started the conversion tool so people can import quests.json from other quest journal plugins from other developers. This is almost complete, and I'm hoping I will be able to upload the latest changes for the quest editor and journal today. We shall see.

@Solis I never uploaded any updates yet, the last post is just a progress update. Also, I've yet to look into the questComplete bug but it will be fixed for this update if I can find it myself. I'll most likely PM you if I have problems finding it.

Sorry everyone for the lack of updates. I was supposed to release a few plugins and some updates last week, unfortunately, Easter took all my free time. This weekend I'm also busy, I should be able to get some time in tomorrow and tonight. Hopefully, I can release all my updates and new plugins tomorrow or Monday.

Yes, you will be able to put your own custom background for both, the Quest Journal scene, as well as the quest tracker on the map scene.

New Plugins And Updates

New plugins.

Event Label - Similar to Yanfly's Mini Labels and Galv's event indicator. This is my own take on fun event labels. It will receive small additions and add-ons in the future.

Social Media Buttons - A basic social media buttons plugin. Add's buttons to your title screen which link to social media of your choice. You can use filters to change the image when touched as well as play a sound.

Quest Journal v1.2.0 -
- Fix bug when setting a quest active with only one objective would fail.
- Showing quest tracker without an active quest would crash game.
- Fix setting opacity for quest tracker was non-responsive
- Fix auto selecting quest on load caused categories to not expand

Well Im having an issue (or several);

• First, my windowskin never loads.

• The letters on the description are all scrambled. I can't do anything about it cause there are no settings in the plugin.
• The objective Icon never changes, that icon is my Icon number 74, I changed it to 18 for my objective icon but it doesnt seem to change no matter what.

It COULD be an imcompatibility with Yanfly's Plugins since im only using Yanfly's stuff.

@Farr - I forgot the opacity option in the parameters, this is why the windows in is not showing, I'll add this tomorrow. I need to see what message codes you're using, either show me a screenshot of your quest (in quest editor) or export your quests and PM them to me. I'll also take a look at the icon tomorrow. Thanks for the report :)

Hey, so when I click on the editor, I dont see a place where to download it? Does it update on my computer automatically? Also, are you sure that is the correct link for the updated Core?
