Luigi Sprite?

Ok so im a bit new to rpg maker, but i have gotten some of the things down (like events).

i am working on a game with mario and luigi. the mario sprite works, but luigi's sprite for some reason was not working, he just sort of, moonwalks. I did add the $ in front of the file for his sprite sheet because rpg maker vx ace wouldn't select the entire sheet normally.I think it may be a problem with the spritesheet I got, but im unsure. So my question is if anyone has a spritesheet for luigi from Bowsers inside story.

Where is this spritesheet from? Ripped from a commercial game? In that case we won't help you with it. Provide the source, and if it's not a rip, we'll let you know how to use it.

actually nevermind i figured it out  turns out the spritesheet had luigi's left and right sprites in the wrong row compared to mario's
