Like the quality is just to die for *swoons* I really loved that clock tower, it gave of an eerie feel to it. But that white rider was really cool!! I'm sure the bike would have been hard considering how nice it looks. Yeah you have a lot to learn maybe but you have your own unique style which I like to say is better in its own way that's all.

Well... I just kept practicing a lot of random stuff, and then tried to improve looking at other ppl works, and trying to "imitate" the shading, etc.

Also...the fact that I started posting my stuff on pixel joint helped a lot... the ppl here is very strict and they aways point your mistakes very well xD

Probably I followed a weird path, but the important is to keep practicing, and having some inspiration on other ppl work helps too.

I'll not tell you to look for tutorials... because I actually don't know how much they help... I never used any pixel art tutorial at all >.<

Wow, your first attempts at pixel art are much better than mine.  I should post those sometime, scare everyone with the poor color choices and pillow shading and flatness.    I had a very similar start with my pixel art.  I learned a lot from posting at Pixelation, same sort of people, same sort of demanding feedback, but the forum is specifically set up for doing that sort of thing.  Solid critique is really useful if you want to improve quickly, isn't it?

I don't know why I haven't posted yet.  Your art is quite good and I always love to see new pixel artists join.  London night is my favorite (though think the clouds are a little over dithered), I also really like the golem, Alex, and those weapons.

You know, people like larger icons and there are some scripts that make good use of them.  You could make icons like those weapons in that kind of scale.

Ho I noticed something lukos you have good shape and good anatomy but I advise you to practice your hand because they something you will need to improve! 

hand are hard to do but when you gey handle of this you will feel your draw will be 10x better then before!

Well...I did 99% of my work using the WinXP version of paint, and then just made color adjusts on photoshop.

Now, since I cant use the Win7 version of pain paint (this version is horrible >.<), I started to use Paint Tool SAI to do pixel art too... (I used only to make non pixel drawings)

Well, I know that there's some pixel art specialized tools that are probably much better, but I aways stick with the ones I'm more familiar with xD

Yeah, I think it's an ego thing too, mostly. Either that or a lack of real ambition. I've got a lot of ambition so even though a harsh critique hurts like crazy, I want it. I want to be an amazing pixel art that makes everyone stop, stare, and envy.

If you're ever feeling brave and want to make tile sets, I cannot recommend Pyxel Edit enough. I don't like most specialized pixel tools, but this one is really different and super useful.
