when i use an ability that gives the player the Magic dodge attribute it sometimes reflects a magic attack


is there any way to stop that from hapening, i mean to only dodge magic and never reflect it?

"dodge" is not a term used in the engine - are you talking about evasion?


But no matter what, unless you change the scripts of the engine, all battle parameters are tested independently. Magic evasion is different from Magic relect, and they don't affect each other in the default engine - if there is a magic reflection, then that is because somewhere you added magic reflection.


Where you did that might be difficult to find, but nothing in magic evasion will cause a magic reflection as long as you don't use a script that changed that fact.


Post a few screenshots of the abitlity and we can check that for you, but most likely the reflect comes from somewhere else.

no, nothing in those screenshots add magic reflect, so it has to be added somewhere else - you need to search for that somewhere in your game yourself.


It can be anything that adds a feature - from equipment worn through the class to the actor. You need to find that other place where reflection gets added, and remove it from there.

i added 10% of reflection to my character's class and forgot about it

I have to admit I'm a bit confused by your state 19.  Why, for Magic Evade, have you made it so that the actor is paralyzed for 5 turns?  That is the result of your Restriction - "Impossible to act". And you have set the skill 'Sorcerer's Protection to "User", so the person with the skill paralyzes themselves for 5 turns in order to evade magic attacks.  But perhaps I have mistranslated something crucial here.


However, that doesn't affect the issue of magic reflect.  There is nothing there which would instigate Magic Reflect.  However, computers only do what they are programmed to do.  Therefore, if you are occasionally getting magic reflect, then it has to be coming from something else.  Does any of the armor, or maybe weapon, confer magic reflect?  Have you checked through all the 'empty' slots in the script editor to see if there is an unnamed script lurking?  Do you have any common events affecting skills or states?
