Synopsis

This is a short game about frienship (or lack thereof), hate and misjudgements. The protagonist, Maia, is a loner and an outcast. She despises "the cool kids". Now that she has to spend some time with them, will she find it easy to connect with them?
This is mainly a visual novel, where you advance through text and pick from a selection of options, though there is a part in the game where you can walk around a room (in a top-down rpg style) and interact with things.

This game is important to me. I made this game reflecting upon myself from when I was in middle school and I envied the kids who were happier than me. I was very hateful and unfairly judgemental of them. Little did I know, they actually weren't so bad.
I hope other people will enjoy it as well.
I'm also looking to improve my game dev skills, so any feedback is welcome!

So she forgot that every people have their own struggle...

@Laureste Hey! I just finished playing your game. It was a nice experience, I think I understand what was passing in Maia's head when she see all the "cool guys" looking so happy while she is a lonely girl. It's hard. I think being a teen is hard, no matter if you are a loner or a cool guy. But for me, as a loner, the cool guys always looked happier, and fits better in the world, so I cannot judge Maia for misjudging others. I hope that, if this story was really based on your own story, you can get along them, and maybe fits in the group hug next time.

As a game, well, its a very short game, but I like the decision making in the dialogues. In a possible sequel, I think you should do this again, and maybe even add more choices, to increase the replay value of your game. You writing is very good in my opinion.

It really is, and I made friends with a few of them, I can generally say we get along great! And we definitely hug a lot lol

I usually do not comment (I am the reserved type), I have not played yet, I am selecting several games at the moment, I do not know why I wanted to comment, the art of the game is beautiful and it seems the plot is emotional , this kind of game appeals to me a lot, congratulations on your creativity anyway.
