Make 1 Specific Actor Leave Battle when Successfully Attacked

How can you make a specific actor leave a battle the first time he's successfully attacked by the enemy in that battle, and have the other actors continue battle?  Before this actor drops out of battle I want to show dialogue describing, in my words, what has happened.  I would want this to be able to happen again each time a battle occurs and he's attacked as long as a switch is on.  The actor won't die though and I might want him to still be in the party after battle, though maybe some way that allows me as programmer to choose whether he in the party right afterwards would be best.

You can have the party healed before battle, and in the troop event, set condition, if X player's HP is 99% or less. Then change party, make that char leave party.

Edit: Oh you want this to happen in every battle, you'll probally need a formula script snippet(a if char gets attacked type of scrypt), turn that into a variable, and then use that Variable as a condition, for the char leaving battle/party.

Also have the battle event turn on a switch, then make a  autorun common event that requires that switch to be on, to add that char back to the party+turn off the switch.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
