Make an Undertale-like simple pause menu

I hate the MV default pause menu. I want to get rid of faces, and the health bars. I want it to look like the menu from Undertale.

I want my menu to look exactly like this, with the options of "Item", "Status", "Equip", and "Exit". I have installed Yanfly's Menu Manager. I'm not sure how to accomplish this as I am not very good at programming at all.

Moving to JS Plugin Requests.

There're are a few simpler menu plugins that I've seen, though I don't recall any that are exactly like Undertale.

Try this if you just want simple pause screen.

You can also customize the menu with AltMenuScreen plugin.
