I would LOVE it if there was a checkbox that lets you dictate whether surrounding autotiles should be redrawn. One of the most frustrating things with VX/Ace/MV mapping imo is when you've spent time drawing in one group of autotiles (like tree tops), then you use another autotile to draw in an adjoining area (roof, building, trunks), and it redraws the original autotiles you had down.

I would find MV much easier to map with if I didn't have to redraw tiles all the time because the editor decides my drawing tile B beside tile A means tile A needs to be redrawn.

If the checkbox is checked (which it would be by default) it mimics the current behaviour, where surrounding autotiles are reshaped as you draw near them. If it's not checked, then ONLY the autotile you have currently selected would be redrawn, and it wouldn't make any changes to adjacent autotiles drawn with a different tile.

Oh god yes. It would also hopefully stop walls merging together when they're placed next to each other. There's nothing so annoying as having perfectly shift-mapped a nice looking house and realising you need to autotile next to it. This would be dandy.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
