Is there some visible/logical reason why you can't walk there? Is the player going to be confused because they THINK they should be able to go there but can't?

You could use events, or if you haven't used any B-E tiles there, you could use a blank B-E tile and set it to impassable.

To do it with regions, you would need a script.

You could also use events - if it's a large area, you wouldn't want to do that, but I made a "large event collision" script that I use for a similar purpose (to use a single event to cover a number of consecutive tiles for transfers - it could just as easily be used to block the player from walking on those tiles at all).

Its a tree border around the start map. there is only one open way out to the next map.

its where the players home is. i like having the tree border there instead of just a flat wall where you cant go.

If it's a tree, you shouldn't be able to walk behind it anyway. Did you change the passage settings?

Barak Storm", please avoid double posting, as it is against the forum rules. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

If you want to answer to several posts, please use multiquote

passage settings?
The passage settings in the database/tileset determines where the player can walk and where not. Trees should always block the player, if they don't do that then the tileset you're using has the wrong passage settings.
If you made a new tileset for that map, most likely you forgot to set the first tile of the B tab to Star-passability - that is a special case, and if you do not do that then the passage settings for the entire map will be broken, allowing the player either to walk everywhere or to walk nowhere...

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
