Make certain Wall Tileset disappear after an event.

Hi guys, I'm looking for an answer for like ages, hope we can come up with an idea.
So I would like to know, if there is a way, to make A tileset (in this case wall tileset) disapper after an event.
I want a character to run againts the wall, with his headbutt skill to destroy the wall.
I can do it with B,C,D,E tilesets easily, but don't know how to do it with A tileset.
Any ideas?

Simple solution would be to place what you need in an upper layer tileset or a sprite/character sheet using a graphics program like GIMP, Photoshop or whatever you may own. The complicated solution would be a plugin that manages redrawing the map itself.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
