I am using RPG Maker MZ.

Any official method (the easy way) to make DLC to the game? (for the game, not the game editor)

If no official method to do so, any plugin is recommended?

Or you recommend that don't make it. It's too difficult and troublesome.

Thanks for any idea.

Doing DLC for content is pretty easy; all you need to do is provide the new data files, maps etc. with the proviso that this only works if your database is *adding* things. If you've moved anything around in the original database, you'll cause weird glitches with inventory etc.

Also if you add any new plugins which initialise their data when a new game is started, you'll render any existing saves useless.

There is one condition however:

all DLC has to be additive and sequential.

which means that DLC2 will require DLC1, and DLC3 will require both DLC2 and DLC1 and so on.

There are ways around that condition, but they would require you to be able to program in javascript to write a custom updater on your own.

Here's this for an idea I might do: A Touhou RPG set in the universe of the Hoi4 mod "The New Order: Last Days of Europe". Expect BurgSys Yukari, the Great Fairy Trial, and funni clock Flandre
The thing I don't like about VRMMORPG anime is that they're unrealistic. I mean, we know we have a lot of ping issues, latency, and desync. Would be funny if you shoot a player and they immediately teleport somewhere because "ha, your internet suck!".
I've decided to try and be more social and less nervous about engaging. I'm always over thinking things - from now on when I'm worried or don't get something I'll just ask.
Sometimes a mechanic that is meant to add challenge is just annoying. Even the Final Fantasy games did not completely escape this pitfall of design. (FF8 draw system I'm looking at you - grrrr)
