Useless Knowledge: I'm new to rpg maker MV (only 78 hours), and I can't figure out how to get an enemy to transform after a percentage of health has been lost.

I think there was a feature like this in the VX ace conditional branch, but I have not found one in MV. I want to have an enemy, after loosing a certain amount of health, to transform into another enemy. I know it is not simple to have an enemy transform after death, i'm pretty sure that requires scripting. 

The Point: How do I get an enemy to transform after loosing a certain amount of hp? is this possible without scripting? If or does or does not require scripting, how would I do this?

P.S: This is my first post, don't judge.

 It depends on what exactly you mean by transform.

One solution would be to make 2 enemies, 1 before the transformation and 1 for after.

 Place them both in a troop, and right click the Transformed enemy to Appear Halfway.

Then in the troops tab, create a page, and set it's condition to be "Enemy 1 HP below 50%".  Probably setting it's span to Battle.

 On the page, have use Enemy Appear to have Enemy 2 show up, and then most likely kill off Enemy 1.

You can set up a page in your battle event like this:

Conditions: Enemy (1) HP <= 50% - Span:Moment

Enemy Transform: #1 Enemy1, Enemy2

You might want to restore its HP after the transformation using the Change Enemy HP event command.  I'm not sure.

To transform an enemy after death go to your troop event and on the first page set the Conditions to Turn 0 + 0 *x.  Set the Span: Battle.  In your event commands go to page 3 and select Change Enemy State then add the Immortal State to enemy #1 (or which ever specific enemy you want to transform).

Then create a new Event Page and set the conditions: Enemy HP #1 Enemy1 (or which ever enemy you want to transform) 0% or below. Set the Span; Moment.  Then go to Enemy Transform (Page 3 in your event commands) and change the enemy into what ever enemy you want it to be.  You can increase its HP as well using the Change Enemy HP event command.  Then go to Change Enemy State again and remove the Immortal State from Enemy #1 (or what ever enemy you transformed).  That way the enemy will die as usual when you remove all its HP.  So the two event pages would look similar to this:

Page 1:

Conditions: Turn 0 - Span: Battle

Change Enemy State: #1 Enemy1, + Immortal

Page2:

Conditions: Enemy HP (1) <= 0% - Span: Moment

Enemy Transform: #1 Enemy1, Enemy2

Change Enemy HP: #1 Enemy1 + 9999

Change Enemy State: #1 Enemy1, - Immortal

My bad, i'm a dimwit for not noticing Battle event conditions. Thanks.

Worked on a cutscene skip domino effect using Maker Systems' script as the basis. Basically if I have a batch of cutscenes in a row on different maps, now when you skip one cutscene it will skip the entire set. No more spamming X to skip a scene every new map.

Oh and it will work regardless of where you do it from in the set. Convenient!
seems absolutely WILD to me now all the hundreds of hours of work I used to do in 2k(3) over a decade ago with a resolution of 320x240. that seems so insanely TINY now, seemed so normal at the time!
